Pick one of three fictional businesses and ask it anything a customer would. It answers only from that business's info, keeps it short, and tells you to call when it isn't sure. This is what you'd get on your own site with the Site + AI Chat package.

Kernel Studio is a young, independent web studio in the UK, run by one person. No account managers, no hand-offs.
I plan, build, test and launch every site myself, and I'm the one who answers when you message. I use modern tools, including AI, for things like first drafts and boilerplate code. That keeps the work quick and the prices fair, and I review and test everything before it goes live.
I'm just getting started, so instead of borrowed logos and big numbers, this page shows the work itself: concept builds, a live chat demo you can try right now, and clear starting prices.

Yes, it can make a decent first draft, and so can site builders like Wix or Squarespace. If you enjoy that kind of thing, give it a go.
What you pay a studio for is everything around the draft: buying and connecting your domain, hosting, making sure it works on every phone, getting your Google listing right, a contact form that actually reaches you, and someone to fix it when something breaks. I use modern tools, including AI, to work faster and keep prices fair. What you get is one person who plans, builds, tests and looks after your site and answers when you message.
A one-page site starts from £250 one-off, and a Starter site (up to 5 pages) from £450. Care adds £40 a month and includes up to 30 minutes of small edits a month. A site with an AI chat assistant starts from £600 plus £60 a month. You pay your domain and hosting providers directly (a .co.uk domain is typically about £10–£15 a year). These are starting prices: after a free chat you get a fixed written quote, and nothing starts until you've agreed it.
A Starter site is typically live in 1–2 weeks once I have your text, photos and logins. Bigger sites or extras take longer, and your quote will include a timeline.
You do. Your domain is registered in your name, and the text and photos you supply stay yours. If you ever move on, I'll help hand everything over to you or your new provider.
It answers common customer questions (opening hours, prices, menu, services, where you are) using only the information you give it. It keeps replies short, and if it isn't sure it tells the customer to call you rather than guessing.
It does not take bookings, payments or orders, it won't chat about unrelated topics, and it introduces itself as an AI assistant so nobody is misled. You can try exactly this in the live demo above.
Messages typed into a chat assistant are sent to an AI provider to generate a reply. The chat assistants I build don't store conversations on your website, and customers are told not to share sensitive personal details. Your contact form messages go to you and are handled under UK GDPR. Full details for each setup are confirmed in writing before launch, and this site's own data use is explained on the privacy page.
Care and AI Chat plans are monthly rolling with no long contract: cancel any time and the plan stops at the end of that month. While you're on it, Care includes up to 30 minutes of small edits a month; bigger changes, or anything over the 30 minutes, are quoted before any work starts. If you cancel the AI Chat plan, the chat assistant is switched off but your website stays yours.
Typically a deposit to book in your build, with the balance due at launch. You see a design preview before the build starts so changes happen early, when they're cheap. Exact payment terms and what happens if you change your mind are written into your quote.
